Cooling Comforters for Abu Dhabi's Heat
With scorching summer temperatures reaching 48°C and dry desert nights that still trap body heat, a standard duvet or comforter becomes a heat trap. The Sleep Lab™ CoolTouch® Performance Comforter is engineered specifically for Abu Dhabi's intense desert heat and rising coastal humidity.
The Problem
Why sleeping cool in Abu Dhabi is hard.
Most comforters sold in Abu Dhabi are designed for temperate European climates. They trap heat, block airflow, and make sleep worse; not better. With scorching summer temperatures reaching 48°C and dry desert nights that still trap body heat, this is not just uncomfortable, it actively disrupts sleep architecture and recovery.
The Solution
Engineered for Abu Dhabi's intense desert heat and rising coastal humidity.
The CoolTouch® Performance Comforter uses our proprietary cooling fabric on both sides, with a lightweight performance fill that provides warmth calibration without heat retention. It creates a consistently cool sleep environment from the first night.
Why It Works
CoolTouch® fabric on both sides for all-position cooling

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a comforter actually keep you cool in Abu Dhabi's summer?
With the right technology, yes. Standard comforters trap heat inside a closed fill chamber. The CoolTouch® Performance Comforter uses phase-change micro-capsules in the fabric that absorb body heat and release it away from the sleep surface, combined with a breathable open-weave fill that allows airflow through the comforter, not just around it.
What size cooling comforter do I need for UAE beds?
UAE beds typically use international sizing: Single (72×90"), Queen (86×90"), or King (102×90"). Our comforters are available in all three sizes. If you're unsure, the Queen size fits most UAE double beds comfortably.
How is the Sleep Lab™ comforter different from what I can find in malls in Abu Dhabi?
Mall bedding is typically sourced for general markets and uses standard cotton or polyester fills. Our comforters are engineered specifically for high-heat environments using proprietary CoolTouch® and TENCEL™ Lyocell technologies developed and tested in climates like the UAE.
Is it worth using a comforter in UAE summers?
Yes; a properly engineered cooling comforter actually helps regulate sleep temperature better than sleeping with just a sheet. The CoolTouch® fill creates a microclimate that buffers against air conditioning fluctuations and prevents the hot-cold cycle that disrupts sleep.
